As Effie and her roommates learn firsthand the true savagery of their enemies, anger and grief threaten to overtake them. The Krepps have twice the numbers of Kyrro, and the frightfully strong creatures are eager to kill.

After managing to anger the entire Academy during his introduction, Zoke learns that behaving like a Krepp makes him more of an outcast with his new allies in Kyrro than he was with his own race. With his sister Zeti on the opposing side as the gruesome events of war unfold, soon the only thing the siblings have in common is a waning hope that they won’t see each other on the battlefield. But before a clash of unprecedented proportions can occur, something unheard of is discovered lingering deep below Tenred that may change everything.

B T (Brian Thoele) Narro was born in 1985, in San Francisco, California, where he still lives. He loves intricate stories with surprises, humor, romance, but above all, deeply developed characters and worlds that are so real they seem to live on once the novel is finished. This is what he strives for as a writer.

Brian’s passion for fantasy started in middle school. He had a lot of inspiring teachers, one of which was his sixth grade English teacher, Rick Riordan (long before he was famous), who loved to enthrall his students by masterfully telling Greek myths from memory.

By sophomore year in college, Brian had finished his first full-length novel. Although immensely proud of it at the time, Brian eventually realized his friends were being generous when they told him it needed work. Years after graduating with his bachelor’s degree in creative writing, he continued to scribble down scenes for the same story as he worked as a customer support representative at a computer game company.

Hero of my Heart by Megan Frampton, Historical Romance – Loveswept, Random House, October 2014

In this emotional and powerfully sensual tale of love and redemption, a tender vicar’s daughter and a tortured war hero discover that sin may be their only salvation.

When Mary Smith’s corrupt, debt-ridden brother drags her to a seedy pub to sell her virtue to the highest bidder, Alasdair Thornham leaps to the rescue. Of course the marquess is far from perfect husband material. Although he is exceedingly handsome, with a perfect, strong body, chiseled jaw, and piercing green eyes, Alasdair is also too fond of opium, preferring delirium to reality. Still, he has come to Mary’s aid, and now she intends to return the favor. She will show him that he is not evil, just troubled.

Mary was a damsel in need of a hero, but Alasdair’s plan is shortsighted. He never foresaw her desire to save him from himself. Alasdair is quite at home in his private torment, until this angel proves that a heart still beats in his broken soul. The devil may have kept her from hell, but will Mary’s good intentions lead them back to the brink—or to heaven in each other’s arms?

A house surrounded by the woods where Agnes’ two childhood friends and her boyfriend, Tyler, were all murdered twenty summers ago when she was just seventeen. She was the only one who escaped, but not without emotional and physical scars. Agnes knows that the woods and the evil entity that lives in it have been waiting for her all these years but she has no choice but to return to Fairfield and her mother’s house when her mother falls very ill and needs her care. Agnes can no longer avoid her destiny. Because the killings have begun again and she’s the only one who can stop them. He loves her and he’ll never leave her. They’ll never leave their home. But they can’t stop time and they’re only waiting for their lonely daughter, Jenny, to make one last visit so they can say goodbye to her and introduce her to the man they know she’s meant to be with . . . then they can leave this earth happy.
